Return policy
In accordance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, please read our return policy below.
This return policy only applies to purchases made in person at our store.
1) No refund. The exchange of goods is possible provided that the following conditions are met.
2) The item in question must be returned in its original packaging,
3) The item in question must be returned in unused condition,
4) The item in question must be returned within seven (7) days of the date of purchase, which is the date shown on the sales receipt.
5) Proof of purchase: the customer must present the sales receipt. Store staff are not authorized to grant exchanges of goods without proof of purchase.
6) No exchange is allowed for body jewelry, nose studs and earrings, for hygiene reasons.
7) No exchanges will be allowed if the item being returned shows signs of wear, has been altered or engraved, or if the item is damaged or scratched and is not resalable.
8) No exchange will be given if the item has been broken, even if the damage is accidental. Some ornaments are very delicate and should be used with care. Bijouterie Guru accepts no responsibility for jewelry broken or damaged due to abuse or neglect.
9) No exchange will be granted to people who display vulgar, violent or threatening behavior.
10) Any use of blasphemous or violent language will constitute not only an immediate refusal to obtain the exchange, but also, a regulation to the full extent of the law. Bijouterie Guru staff are authorized to call the police at the first sign of violent or abusive behavior. Our premises are fully protected with surveillance and video recording. Records of questionable and violent behavior will be provided to law enforcement authorities for use as evidence in court.
